“Fridays With Fitz” is a new online opportunity for families and children during the VODID-19 pandemic.  With the closing of schools, child care centers and many other businesses throughout the state, we know that routines and schedules are very different currently.  This includes children being at home with parents/caregivers more often.  This online “show” will be fun for children and helpful/informational for parents, grandparents, caregivers, etc.

Eamonn “Fitz”gerald will be the star of the show and will be providing activities that can be done while at home with children.

We will also have additional guests who will provide information on staying healthy (physically, mentally, socially, spiritually and more).  Several local partners will be teaming up with us to make this happen weekly.

Friday, March 27 @ 7:00 PM

Eamomm “Fitz”gerald (First Five Lex – Fayette County Public Schools) will be leading fun and interactive activities that parents can use in their homes to teach and to have fun.

Bo and Danielle Warren – local musicians who will be playing and singing a couple of songs to get parents and children active and moving.  This week’s songs will be “The Wheels On the Bus” and “If You’re Happy and You Know It.”

Holly Ackerman (KET) – will be introducing parents and children to online resources that are appropriate for children of various ages.
