Family Fun Night “Storytellin With Mary Jo Huff” – Friday April 27th 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm at Northside Public Library (1733 Russell Cave Rd, Lexington, KY 40505)

Join us for, “Family Fun Night – Storytellin With Mary Jo Huff” at the Lexington Public Library.  Activities will be available to children at the event.  This event is FREE to members and families.  If you are not a member but would like to receive training credit for attending the cost is $10.  Light refreshments will be served.  This event is made possible by our generous partners: The Lexington Public Library, KET, & First 5 Lex.

Saturday April 28th 8:00 am – 2:15 pm at Immanuel Baptist Church (3100 Tates Creek Rd, Lexington, KY 40502)

We are happy to announce that the keynote address on Saturday will be presented by Mary Jo Huff.  Mary Jo is an award winning author and storyteller.

Connecting to the power of story, puppet play, music and movement she brings a unique and workable approach to telling stories and connecting them to CCS (Common Core/State Standards). Mary Jo enjoys speaking for family nights and opening ceremonies. She has been an MC for events across the United States.

Mary Jo has been honored as a Keynote speaker and presenter along with night time storytelling for DLM Express by McGraw Hill, FROG STREET SPLASH, SECA, 4-C, State Reading Associations, Festivals and ASCD.

Registration on Saturday will begin at 7:15 and breakfast will be served until 7:45. Participants arriving late to registration (8:10 or after) will be allowed to stay for the Keynote address, but will not be given credit.  Lunch will be provided.  Members will register Saturday morning inside the sanctuary and non-members will register in the foyer.
