CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE

     The Child Care Council (3C's) administers child care subsidy programs in the Bluegrass to assist parents in paying for child care.  Beginning July 1, 2009 the CCC will begin administering the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) in Northern Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky as well as the Bluegrass Region.  The goal of CCAP is to provide access to quality child care that enables parents to work, attend education or training programs and to participate in work programs required for K-TAP recipients.  Subsidized child are is also available for child protection/prevention services and low income working families.  The CCC provides child care assistance services in the following 71 counties in Central, Northern and Eastern Kentucky:
